Tender Mercies Pantry
.
The Mississauga Seventh-day Adventist Church is a faith based church that believes in the importance of service. Our involvement within our community has revealed many truths to us, one of which is the growing face of poverty. In 2003, the church instituted a food bank to address the food shortages experienced by individuals and families in Mississauga. We are aware of the food insecurities that exist in Peel Region and have seen first-hand the role that food banks play in our clients lives. Tender Mercies Pantry provides hunger relief for those struggling with poverty, underemployment and financial obligations.
